Winchester Way is a semi-detached property under Three Rivers District Council. The existing property is a ground and first floor residential with a large rear garden. The design brief was to do a house holder application for double storey wrap around extension and porch renovation.Therefore,the proposed ground floor extends towards the the right side of the property to offer a provision for office/study area, a utility area and a toilet. This application extends the side extension to cover the width of the building block. The existing front storage is proposed as study/office area with a connection to the hallway. Existing porch area is extended to the front which leaves a larger space for the hallway. Kitchen and the reception is unified by removing the internal partition resulting in an open kitchen and dining area.
