The house is situated in the Hemel Hempstead area and is under the Dacorum council. The client required the area of the existing two storey house to be reworked for better functional use and therefore seeked to replace the existing conservatory with a single storey rear extension. The proposal therefore is designed as an open layout for the ground floor and maximises the kitchen and dining area to the rear of the house with the addition of the single storey extension. Bi-fold doors to the rear and veluxes added to the new roof allow for ample daylight into the new spaces.
