Selwood Road is a semi-detached house under The Royal Borough of Kingston. The existing property is a 3 bed house. The design brief was to do the side extension above the ground floor, loft conversion with a dormer .The proposed structure does not affect the layout of the ground floor. However since a floor is being proposed above the side extension the sky light on the ground floor shower room will be eliminated due to the side extension. The first floor side extension will result in a larger bedroom at the rear side.The loft floor layout consists of two single bedrooms with a shared bathroom, the rear dormer accommodates one bedroom and shower room, the front of the loft space proposes an eaves space bedroom. Unusable spaces will be used for storage, there will be 3 velux skylights towards the front of the property.
