A beautiful housing masterplan. The site worked an impressive radial shape in plan, allowing for the centre to be a community space accommodating a garden, gym, library and a bakery. The apartment units surround this communal space giving an open airy atmosphere. The modular-designed apartment units create a skyline that moves the eye around the whole site giving a playful character. The relationship of each resident to the site and their neighbors became an interesting and fun experiment through modular design. Construction costs are also reduced due to modular design and construction.
